Schedule:8:00 am-4:00 pm (Monday-Friday). Permanent full-time position.
Qualifications:An ultra-luxury condominium property in Downtown Montreal is seeking an experienced superintendent to cater to the needs of the residents along with maintaining day to day operations. Salary to be determined based on qualification.
-Performing various maintenance and repairs; Respond to after hours and weekend emergency calls.
-Perform cleaning of building perimeter, landscaping and snow removal. Plaster, drywall, paint, plumbing and electrical as required. Garage cleaning with zamboni.
-Perform checks of mechanical rooms, pool room, etc.
-Complete paint touch-ups as needed on exterior and interior of property.
-Complete weekly reports to be sent to Management.
-Communicate with management weekly and advise of any issues.
-Respond to any emergencies, interact with contractors and building residents.
-Demonstrate flexibility as tasks may change based on building requirements.
-Proficiency with email use.
-Must be familiar with emergency procedures (fire and water leaks).
-Sense of duty is a must.
-Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
-Courteous phone etiquette a must.
-Proficient English speaking and writing skills.
-Ability to follow instructions.
-Highly energetic and able to respond to changing priorities in a positive manner.
-Presentability and personal well-grooming a plus.
-Knowledge of maintenance schedules – Proficient with: sprinkler room (dry and wet system), boiler room (electrical and gas), HVAC (glycol system, chiller system), generator room, elevator room, main electrical room, fire panel, makeup air units, sump pumps, booster pumps, compactor room, circulation pumps.
Experience in high rise condominiums required. Bilingual (FR/ENG). High school education at minimum. Additional education or trades courses an asset. Minimum 5 years maintenance experience. Ability to demonstrate basic carpentry, electrical, and plumbing skills. Must be able to operate hand and power tools with safety as a priority. Ability to work outdoors, lift up to 30 kilos, and work with heights on ladders. Maintain confidentiality. Must have a positive attitude and effective interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
