Live-in superintendent required.
We are looking for a highly organized individual for a residential building with 85 apartments. The job requires hands-on repairs/ maintenance; technical knowledge of building operation and system equipment, including plumbing, heating, cleaning, electrical, mechanical and other systems; snow removal; fire safety maintenance; the ability to respond to the needs of tenants and have a close relationship with management.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Organize work in the building and ensure that deadlines are met and building is running smoothly and is clean.
• Plumbing: change / repair toilets, faucets, pipes, unblock bath, sink, toilet, etc.
• Electricity: change fixture, outlets, etc.
• Carpentry: install and adjust doors, kitchen counter-tops, weather stripping, lock, handles, etc.
• Painting and plastering.
• Tiling.
Qualifications and Skills
Must have at-least 10 years hands on experience in renovations.
Must be bilingual.
A background check will be done on all eligible candidates.
Benefits
A two bed room apartment is provided for the superintendent and supplied at a later date TBD. The superintendent is on-call 24 hours per day every second week (one week on, one week off).
