Office Assistant @10 hours per week – Start Up in Griffintown

As the Office Assistant, you will work on a part-time basis (10 hours per week) to support the day-to-day operations of our Montreal office, provide administrative support for our team, and collaborate with our Somerville, MA office.

Responsibilities include:

• Serve as the main point of contact for all local office administration including office space management
• Assist in recruitment efforts, including schedule on-site office visits and on-campus events at local universities
• Manage logistics related to office visitors
• Assist with onboarding of new hires and work visa requests/renewals
• Support the planning of company-wide offsites, social outings, and special events
• Work with the COO on HR or finance related issues
• Maintain organized and accessible file databases for tax grants, vendor contracts, or other local finance needs

Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience managing an office and assisting professionals in a corporate setting
• Bachelor’s or Associates degree from an accredited university is preferred, or currently enrolled in a degree program
• Fluent French and English language skills, both written and spoken
• Reliable and trustworthy
