Catering Office Clerk – Full Time

We currently have an exciting opening for a Catering Office Clerk at Miss Pret à Manger, a leading catering company in Downtown Montreal.
As a Catering Office Clerk, you will be reporting to the owner as well as the Office Manager. Your day to day will include creating new and following up on existing quotes for new and repeat clients. Our office is located in Downtown Montreal.
Duties
• Answer and maintain all clients catering needs and questions
• Communicate via email with clients in order to supply quotes and menus
• Follow up with after events, when needed, to ensure satisfaction
• Liaise between the office and the kitchen/catering staff to ensure that the correct information is passed on
• Maintain, manage and work to improve systems, procedures and business processes
• Assist with projects as needed ( menu pricing, inventory, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE
• Experience in menu planning, catering logistics, and fundamental understanding of food
• Knowledge of Excel, Google Docs and Mac OS environment
• A strong desire to exceed client expectations
• Must be available to work some weekends and evenings if needed
• The ability to read, write and speak English and French fluently
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions a professional manner
• The ability to problem solve and think outside of the box, when needed
