Social Media Manager
The overall purpose of a social media manager is to lead our social media strategy in order to boost visibility and customer and client engagement. As manager you will manage our online presence by developing a strategy, producing good content, analyzing usage data, facilitating customer service and managing projects and campaigns.
Responsibilities:
Develop a social media strategy and set goals to increase brand awareness and increase engagement
Manage all social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, linked in, website and Instagram
Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions
Form key relationships with influencers across the social media platforms
Monitor and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics
Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
Collaborate with other teams, like assistant, sales, and creative director to ensure brand consistency
Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
Assist with the planning of marketing strategies to help drive traffic and engagement to all platforms.
Attend events to capture social media feeds
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Social media manager
Hands on experience in content management
Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
Excellent written skills and an eye for detail
Knowledge of online marketing channels
Familiarity with web design
Excellent communication skills
Multitasking skills
