Job Description

The purpose of the Social Media Coordinator position is to update, schedule, respond and maintain messaging across all Social Media channels, including but not limited to blog posts and videos. This person supports and coordinates the Online Marketing & Social Media initiatives of the Marketing Department, as well as providing guidance, strategy, methodology, process, and analytical support to the company (both Domestic & International)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

– The Social Media Coordinator will primarily be responsible for the following:

· Posting – multiple times daily on all Social Media channels (including, but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram & G+)

· Listening and Responding – multiple times daily on all Social Media platforms listed above, based on customer engagement.

· Analyzing and Reporting – specific daily, weekly, monthly and annual activity on all of Social Media channels (including engagement, trends, sentiment, promotional/ad spend, and setting up all ads)

. Process & Planning responsibilities include:

· Producing and publishing a weekly Social Media Production Schedule

· Providing a series of Image Requests for Social Media via the Creative Marketing Team

· Contribute to the recurring Editorial Calendar shared between Marketing & Communication Departments

· Monitor chat messages & publish via Twitter during events

· Help Develop, Expand, and Manage the Social Media Plans for: Products, Events, Promotions, and Country launches.

Additional Responsibilities:

– Contributing to Social Media Strategy and Online Marketing Campaigns.

Partner with other groups/departments in both within and outside of the Marketing Department to build on ideas, brainstorm, and help bring concepts to life.

– Research

Follow, read, share, and engage with the leading Social Media blogs, news sources, webinars, and online events to stay on the cutting edge of Social Media and Online Marketing technologies, campaigns, and startups.

Qualifications

Desired Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

· 1-3 years of branded social media experience, with proven results tied to ROI on Facebook & Twitter

. Experienced with Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design. Experience in graphic design, added benefit.

· Minimum 1 year experience with paid media such as Facebook Ads, Google Ad-words

· Experience conducting interviews and transforming interviews into engaging stories

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Strong desire to self-lead

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with WordPress

Experience developing and maintaining brand voice and guidelines
