West Island Wholesale Electronics Distributor is seeking an organized detail oriented mature individual who takes pride in, and ownership of their work. You possess good interpersonal, phone and time management skills. You can prioritize tasks based on need and importance to avoid lags in service. You work well with little supervision and learn tasks quickly. You are meticulous in your notes, filing and record keeping. You enjoy a small, quiet office environment, with a variety of tasks. You are flexible in nature and realize the importance of customer relationships.
Duties:
• Answer phones and direct calls.
• Filing / General office duties
• Manage existing database including creating new vendors/customers and updating existing vendor information
• Create Purchasing Orders
• Create Part Numbers in Database and maintain Inventory levels.
• Create Packing Slips, Invoices, Pro-Forma Invoices, shipping quotes & documents (FedEx / UPS Eshipper)
• Track inbound/outbound shipments, to guarantee on time delivery
• Make Purchases via Credit Card web based
• Expedites / Purchase order management: Work with customers forecast to schedule against customers’ needs date based on forecast, includes expedites, pushouts order increases, decreases, order cancellations
• Work conscientiously to constantly reduce costs, improve operating procedures and end customer service/experience
• Inventory Posting (daily upload of our inventory to B2B sites via email)
• Records / Monthly reports / database / Administration / Document control
• Some customer service activities
• Quote tracking and follow up
• Computer Literate (Excel / Outlook essential)
• Accounting Software we use is Quickbooks – so that would be an asset
• Bilingual
