The Warehouse Driver will be responsible for performing various tasks and activities to process the flow of goods, including loading the truck, delivering the goods, unloading the truck, and other duties as assigned. The Warehouse Driver is also responsible for meeting and exceeding performance requirements in the areas of safety, quality, and productivity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform deliveries on time
Load and unload deliveries
Complete time and maintenance sheets
Maintain pickup and delivery logs
Ensure safety and security of equipment and merchandise
Identify and resolve issues on site
Optimize productivity and accuracy with minimal supervision, while consistently meeting and exceeding minimum performance requirements
Provide cross-functional support to other departments
Collaborate with team members in order to advance continuous process improvements
Access to data plan on smartphone
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent
A minimum of 2 years experience in distribution and transportation
Valid driver’s license, Class 3 or above
Driver’s record in good standing
Flexible schedule, able to work additional hours as required
Ability to walk 5km per day with equipment and/or stand for extended periods, when required
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50 lbs
Mut have data plan available on smartphone
SKILLS
Good interpersonal skills
Strong time management and planning skills
Ability to multi-task in order to maintain operational efficiency
Knowledge of warehouse equipment
Ability to work in a fast pace environment
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $15.00 /hour
