Offre : Prep cook to join supportive team at private school

We are hiring for a chef to join a 4-person team at a Westmount Private School. This is an excellent opportunity for parents or recent cooking school grads. For parents, the job matches the school year, so you get all the holidays off, spring break off, and summer break off. For recent cooking school grads, this is an opportunity to start your career off right in a professional kitchen, cooking diverse menu options for large groups.

The basics:

We cook meals for 200 kids each day,
Our staff vary in ages, but have lots of experience to share and mentor you
Tasks include, prepping food, making snacks, serving food and cleanup
As this is working with children you’ll need to pass a criminal record check

This is a social environment, so a sense of humour and friendly disposition are appreciated
5 days a week 8:00am-3:30pm
180 days a year working, every holiday off and summers too

You are:

A dynamic person who is comfortable working in a friendly, fast paced environment

Able to perform all the physical tasks required in a kitchen

A person with some cooking experience who can follow instructions, and collaborate and anticipate the needs of other people on the line
