Client: Small Engineering Firm
Location: Westmount – Victoria Village
Contract: August 2018 – April 2019
Hours: M-F 8:30 am-4:30 pm (can be arranged to accommodate full time students)
Pay Rate: $ 12.00/hour (up to a 40 hour work week)
We are seeking a professional bilingual individual who has great initiative, is energetic,
to work for a small engineering firm in the Victoria Village.
Responsibilities include various clerical and administrative functions supporting the overall operation of the office.
Administrative Assistant
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform reception activities.
Handle incoming phone calls.
Handle incoming and outgoing courier requirements.
Manage the technical library.
Organize new office space.
Help with other clerical duties and management support duties
Write correspondence and other documents.
Inventory Control
Supply Chain Management
Project Management
Procurement Management and Analysis
Other duties, as required.
Experience:
Experience in a administrative function.
Preference for university management or engineering majors
Computer literacy required: MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint Excel and Access experience.
Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and manage priorities to maintain efficient and reliable delivery of administrative services. Enthusiastic, self-starter person required.
Communication and customer service skills in English and French.
Offices are close to Bixi stands, bus stops, metro and AMT station
