What do we do?
We are a very well established commercial construction company, working on multiple projects throughout Montreal at any given time

How many people work in our office?

YES WE ARE!! ! We work very well together, we are always learning and focused on delivering the best to our customers
What does the position entail?
* supporting the sales and bidding process including helping with submissions and research
* supporting the customers when projects are in progress including change orders, invoicing and communication
* being the administrative liaison to our partners (including sub-contractors) and suppliers
* managing the day to day office operations
What does the position look like short term and longer term?
Short term: we have some organizing to do. We have been stretched too thin which has caused us to fall behind. Your organizational skills will be put to good use when you arrive.
Longer term: aside from the day to day, we want to stay current with what we do and how we do it. You would play a key role in this by bringing us practical suggestions that could enhance our operations and ultimately the service we provide to our customers.
To be successful (and have fun!) with the position, what type of person are you?
You are someone who;
* has done good work in the past and is proud of your accomplishments
* is available regular business hours (Monday – Friday) plus on occasion, outside those hours
* demonstrates leadership qualities where you are a natural at taking initiative versus always needing to be told what to do next
* is organized in their work, able and willing to document and train as required so the whole office is comfortable with the infrastructure that keeps the place running smoothly
* appreciates and provides timely communication
* works as comfortably in French as in English
* has a happy spirit; someone who can develop positive, friendly relationships with partners, suppliers, customers and colleagues
* thrives on learning new things with the intent to continuously grow personally and professionally
* works well with MS Office products and other systems used to manage the business
