KEYORK IMMIGRATION LAW has an opening for a full-time Immigration Legal Assistant position in the Montreal office. KEYORK IMMIGRATION LAW handles all types of Canadian immigration applications, including litigation at the IRB and the Federal Court of Canada. Please submit your cover letter and resume.
Description of Position
• Preparing immigration applications, forms and court documents;
• Drafting correspondence, submissions and legal documents;
• Managing and prioritizing work flow;
• Meeting and following up with clients;
• Office administration tasks;
Skills
• Minimum post-secondary diploma in related field;
• Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in immigration law an asset;
• Fluency in English and French – Excellent English fluency is a key requirement;
• Additional languages an asset;
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills;
• Ability to work well under pressure and with deadlines;
• Detail oriented;
• Excellent time management and organizational skills;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Start date: July 2018.
Hours per week: 30-35 hours
