Tour Manager – marketing/advertising/pr

Seeking (2) Tour Managers for (2) upcoming shows for a highly reputable power sports brand. This tour will focus on three main components – managing event set ups/breakdown, traveling and managing event assets, and becoming an expert on the product.

We are seeking an experienced tour manager with strong communication skills, and knowledge / interest in the power sports category. Events will take place January 31st – February 3rd and February 21st – February 24th.

CANDIDATES MUST BE ENGLISH AND FRENCH-CANADIAN SPEAKING.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Overall

o Manager will work with brand product line demonstrating features and benefits to key costumers
o Be versed on the product, brand, brand initiatives, etc.
o Manage overall (2) shows, event locations and timing
o Manage consumer experience and daily run of show
o Manage loading and packing of assets
o Manage brand ambassador staff onsite, including light training and schedules

Events Logistics

o Set up and breakdown all event assets, including troubleshooting production needs
o Support and manage onsite event needs
o Efficient in basic event set build and staff management
o Manage show logistics and your schedule for asset load in and load out
o Ensuring all assets maintain in consumer facing condition
o Tracking metrics and report in event recaps

Event Recaps

o Responsible for completing a thorough event summary after each event day and sending to agency
 All recaps can be emailed after each event end
o Manage event recap media (pictures and video)

Communication with Agency

o Responsible for maintaining a current maintenance log for each vehicle
o Responsible for communicating with agency immediately if an accident is to occur

Expense Reports (Personal and for Agency Corporate Card)

o All receipts for every expense must be saved and kept in one place.
o Corporate card:
 Tour managers will be responsible for completing an online expense report with each item that is on the current statement. The Tour Managers must fill in the explanation and provide receipts for all expenses.
o All team members are responsible for keeping track of their receipts

Miscellaneous

o Carry health insurance
o Provide proof of a clean driving record and criminal history
o Agency is not responsible for lost or stolen items
o Other duties as needed for successful execution of these programs
o If schedule allows, accommodate all media interview requests
o Handle last minute requests, schedule changes, etc.
o Able to lift 25 – 50lbs
